Aha, you didn't think that I would post this month, did you?! ...neither did I.
A comment on a video moved me to make a post about the internet again. This amazing video "Half-Life, Architecture and Anime Girls" was so well made and intriguing that I already wanted to post about it somewhere on my site, but then a comment below the video basically forced my hand to write all this.
This comment stole my thunder! But I'll take a moment to save everyone interested some extra searching for the website of the subject of this video - "KS" - and drop a link here to its 2006 iteration. Read it and weep, baby.
Now THAT'S a website. Oozes "I make Half-Life mods and anime girl art" energy. And if you've never seen that kind of energy before, here's a prime example for you. But really, the passion and pride in the guy's work is evident in all he's shared online, so I'm really glad at least a good chunk of his stuff is archived online.
One of my favorite thing to do on older computers is go web-spelunking for stuff like this, thinking about online days gone by. (In case this hobby of mine wasn't evident enough from my own website's design.) Give it a spin sometime!
Oh, and for the fate of this "Alive Internet Theory" series. I was pretty able to have plans for at least monthly posts, but since I've got off Twitter I have a bit less ammo for outstanding stuff to post about. This series won't die, I think, but it might not be monthly going forward.
Today I'm also posting my non-one-time-blog-post type of pages about peak albums that don't have a single skippable track under the "Resources" section of my posts page. Take a gander at my super basic music opinions!
